I have done research in the areas of discrete differential geometry and integrable systems. Most of my contributions are regarding two special families of planar curves, the Euler’s elastica and the log-aesthetic curve, focusing on approximation algorithms and their applications in industrial design and architecture. My background is in physics, and I am very interested in the connection between mathematics and physics and their applications. Currently, I am studying determinantal point processes and its usages in machine learning.
