Prof. Hien Duy Nguyen (Division of Industrial Mathematics and Statistics), who joined the IMI Australia Branch in October 2023, is staying at IMI for joint research until 23th March. He will conduct joint research projects on statistics and data science with the academic staff in the Division of Industrial and Mathematical Statistics and other staff, and also give intensive lectures. Professor Nguyen will stay at IMI for about three weeks each semester to promote activities such as Australia-Japan joint research.
