Prof. Nguyen Dinh Hoa has been elevated to IEEE Senior Member and was awarded the IEEE Japan Medal during the ceremony on February 3, 2024.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.

The IEEE Japan Medal was established in 1949 and is awarded by the IEEE to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of electrical and electronic engineering or related fields in Japan. This year the award ceremony is held by the IEEE Japan Council via the IEEE Fukuoka Branch board meeting on February 3, 2024 at the Centennial Hall 3, Kyushu University Hospital Campus.
