Professor Broadbridge (Professor Emeritus, La Trobe University), who is a visiting professor of IMI in charge of the IMI Australia Branch, has been awarded the ANZIAM Medal from Australia New Zealand Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ANZIAM) which is the highest award of ANZIAM. He has also been awarded the AMSI Distinguished Service Medal from the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI). These awards are for his high-level scientific research activities and his services to the mathematics communities.

Prof. Broadbridge was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from Kyushu University in May 2019 for his contributions to Kyushu University, which was widely announced on the webpage of La Trobe University.
