Title : Mathematical models for forest ecosystems
Speaker : Prof. Akiko SATAKE (Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Kyushu University)
Place : IMI Auditorium (W1-D-413) (4F, West Zone 1, Kyushu University)

In this talk, the speaker first explained mathematical models for mast flowering. Then the speaker talked about application of these models to real data in Hokkaido. Furthermore, the speaker talked about recent research on fusion of real data on gene expression and mathematical models.
