In this talk, the speaker, Mr. Atsuhiro Miyagi (Taisei Corporation), talked about a series of workflow for determining the optimal position of wells towards effective storage of carbon dioxide in the earth. In particular, he talked about mathematical and numerical methodologies and challenging issues in optimization problems including evolutionary computations towards effective well arrangements.
