Interview involving “Energy Outlook” at IMI

Followed by the visit of Prof. Moshe Matalon (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), an authority of combustion theory, to International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (WPI-I2CNER), Kyushu University, Japan, the interview among Prof. Matalon, Director Yasuhide Fukumoto and Kaname Matsue (Assist. Prof. of IMI / I2CNER) was carried out on Oct. 30th, 2017.

In this interview, they discussed their own mathematical background, applied mathematics to combustion and wind power generations and how mathematics should be involved in energy problem in the real world.
