On 6 December(Tue.), Professor John Dewar, Vice-Chancellor and President of La Trobe University(Melbourne, Australia) and Mr. Kelly Smith, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) visited IMI. On behalf of Professor Yasuhide Fukumoto, Director of IMI, who has been traveling abroad, Professor Osamu Saeki, Deputy Director of IMI, and Professor Kenji Kajiwara, Head of IMI Australia Branch, welcomed them. They agreed that IMI will maintain and extend IMI Australia Branch, and La Trobe University will offer strong support to its activities.
