At this IMI colloquium, Dr. Teiichi INADA (New Business Developing Headquarters, Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd.) had a lecture. He explained the present condition of the semiconductor industry. Next, he introduced the combination design system by weak conditioned combinatorial linear programming. Thereby, the auditor was able to understand how a mathematical technique would be helpful at the development spot. There were many questions and discussions after the lecture.
