The annual meetings of organizational committees for IMI Joint Usage/Research Center were held using the opportunity of Forum “Math-for-Industry” 2014. Steering Committee was held at 16:00-18:00 on Oct.27th(Mon), and Executive Committee was held at 18:00-19:30 on Oct.30th(Thu) in Nishijin Plaza, Kyushu University. The former is to review the plannings and practical issues on selection process for Joint Usage/Research projects, while the latter is to discuss and make decisions on the general research and management of Joint Usage/Research Center. In the both meetings, active and beneficial discussions took place by external experts of mathematics and industries. IMI International Advisory Board was held at 10:00-12:00 on Nov.1st(Sat) in Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk. Valuable opinions to IMI were raised from the international point of view, and various suggestions were made for more intensive collaboration with overseas organizations including European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry (ECMI).
