Mathematical Science Research and its application in IBM Research – Tokyo

Place：INAMORI Hall, Ito Campus, Kyushu University

This colloquium was organized as a part of IMI Tutrial in Inamori hall. The speaker, Dr. Tsuyoshi Ide from IBM Research-Tokyo, talked about the international research activity in IBM. As an interesting example of the recent researches, he explained a research project in statistical analysis of web camera data for transportation research. More than 40 participants attended the lecture.
